Designed for instance for the foundry process, to measure the temperature of the metal poured into each mould
Description
TEMPSTREAM uses the temperature measured by a bichromatic pyrometer. As this measure is influenced by process fluctuations along pouring, a dedicated algorithm extracts the proper value for each mould

- Temperature of the metal actually entering the mould, not a temperature “somewhere” in the pouring box as with dip probes or submerged thermocouples
- Special optical lens to accept deviation of the stream
- User friendly calibration and possibility to store several calibration values for different grades

- Temperature trend is plotted on the HMI for easier management of metal temperature
