Presentation :


DAPSERT® 4 models range of powder feeders automatically distribute powder in the mould of a billet or bloom caster. All models combine :

  • a hopper that stores the powder

  • a screw dosing system that brings a selected
        quantity of powder

  • a control panel with buttons and display, located
        on the casting floor
  • a PLC placed in the operator panel

    Options :

  • starting powder control
  • communication with the caster's PLC (powder feeding rate adjusted according to the withdrawal speed, …)


    Advantages

    DAPSERT®-LS and DAPSERT®-US models include a specially designed spreading tray that distributes the powder (pulverised or granular) uniformly all over the surface, including behind the submerged nozzle.
