Purposes of tundish control
  • avoid overflowing
  • optimise tundish change
  • makes the process more stable for a better
    decantation
  • keep a uniform metallostatic pressure for a
    more accurate flow control from the
    tundish to the mould

Specificity
  • possibility to control either from load cells
    (weight measurement) or from laser sensor
    (level measurement)
  • specific patented technology to control the ladle gate with no need of monitoring sensor
